Marching Into TAO Downtown

Time

October, 2024

Last night, me and my co-founder walked into TAO Los Angeles, a five-star restaurant, dressed in $15 Walmart Batman costumes to pitch Adam Waheed (50 million followers) and actor Don Benjamin. And it worked.

I'm currently in LA for Halloween with the Nitrility team. While heading to an event with Dylan Harari and Fanfix, we got a text from a friend informing us that Adam and Don were at the restaurant next door. Within 5 minutes we walked in, found their table, and introduced ourselves. 10 minutes later they both followed me on Instagram, and we’re meeting again next week.

Whether it was our pitch skills or their genuine interest in Nitrility, the key takeaway for anyone in the pre-seed to seed stage is this: non-linear, 0 shame, 0 fear actions are what build billion-dollar companies.
